‘LAETOLI’ is a site in Tanzania famous for its footprint preserved in volcanic ash first found by the archeologist Dr. Mary Leakey in 1976. The ‘Laetoli Footprint’ is now found 45km near the Oldupai Gorge in the Serengeti Plains.
